Paradise Kashmir - 07 Days / 06 Nights

Day 01: Jammu – Patnitop (100 km / 4 hrs drive)

Arrive at Jammu, proceed to Patnitop. Patnitop is a hill top tourist location in Udhampur district on the National Highway 1A, on the way from Udhampur to Srinagar. Patnitop is a distortion of the original name of “Patan Da Talab” meaning “Pond of the Princess”. In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and the king’s princess often used to have her bath there. Proceed for local sightseeing which includes Nag Temple and an excursion to Nathatop and Sanasar, Overnight stay at hotel in Patnitop.

Day 02: Patnitop – Pahalgam (140 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Pahalgam. (2440 Meters above Sea level). Drive through the green pine forest and along the Lidder River. On arrival at Pahalgam, check into your Hotel. Enjoy local sightseeing of Pahalgam. Overnight stay at Pahalgam. (Chandanwari sightseeing will be not included).

Day 03: Pahalgam –Srinagar & Local Sightseeing

Afrter breakfst proceed to Srinagar. Later leave for a local sightseeing tour to the famous Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of Pleasure’, built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of Love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). Also visit Chashme Shahi, followed by famous Pari Mahal and  Shankaracharya Temple situated on the top of a hill where you can have a view of whole Srinagar City. Later you can visit the world famous Tulip Garden in Srinagar. Enjoy shopping at Kashmiri craft and art stores. Dinner and overnight at Srinagar.

Day 04: Srinagar- Gulmarg- Srinagar (100 kms)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Gulmarg (2440 Meters above sea level). It is one of the most beautiful hill stations and also called “Meadowof Flowers”. It has world’s highest golf course and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports like skiing. In the afternoon enjoy sightseeing of Gulmarg, also enjoy an exciting Gondola ride (Cable car, own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. Evening return back to Srinagar and stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (170 km)

After breakfast, proceed on a Full Day tour of Sonamarg (‘Meadow of Gold’), a place that enchants you with its scenic splendor. All the way a metalled road snakes through massive mountains laden with forests and firs. After a breathtaking journey from Srinagar you come across Sindh meanders that are abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas Glacier – a major attraction during the summer months. Sonmarg’s importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. You will be fascinated to see snowy mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop. In the evening return back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 06: Srinagar – Jammu (300 km- 9 hrs)

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to Jammu. On arrival in Jammu check-in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Jammu Departure

After breakfast, free time till departure. Check out from the hotel and transfer to Jammu Airport/ Railway Station to connect onwards destination.
